These urban redevelopment projects along the Carroll Creek corridor promise to revitalize a historic and vital part of the City of Frederick's downtown to become a vibrant area attracting young professionals and those looking for an urban lifestyle. Rodgers Consulting is proud to be involved in several Creekside sites currently under design and development. Special features highlighting the corridor include garden-like settings, pedestrian focused design, public art, water features, and sweeping views of the famous clustered spires of Frederick. Work is currently underway on the pedestrian bridge system, amphitheater and corridor landscaping. Available to all visitors is the wealth of possibilities in restaurants, antiques, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums, and local parks. South Market Center and Maxwell Place Condominiums at Carroll Creek received the 2007 Award of Excellence, from the Maryland/DC National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) for "Best Urban Business District Office;" the 2006 Award of Excellence, from the Frederick County Builders Association, for "Best Multi-Family Project;" and the 2006 Monument Award, from the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, for "Innovative Infill Land Planning, Under 2 acres."
