We specialize in town planning, urban design, development entitlements, site engineering and natural resource management for private-sector developers, builders, institutions and corporations.

Rodgers Consulting, Inc. has been at the forefront of the new urbanist movement since the mid-1980s, and was involved at the very earliest stages in the planning and design of the Kentlands, one of the first neo-traditional or new-urbanist communities in the United States. Rodgers Consulting, Inc. served on the original charrette team led by new-urbanist pioneers Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk (of the internationally renowned DPZ Architects, Inc.) and provided site planning, engineering and natural resources management services on this project, the winner of numerous national awards. To date, we have planned and designed over 20 new urbanist communities in and around the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region. Our award-winning planning and design teams are known for creating communities with a sense of place, communities that are in harmony with their natural environment, and communities where people want to live and work.
